Station 8
At this location, the zinc ore from the Schmalgraf mine was delivered to the washing plant using by the means of a small bridge over the Göhl River. The exploitation in the Altenberg mine was ceased in 1884, as a consequence of resource depletion. The washing plant was kept working with deliveries from the Schmalgraf mine, and from the neighbouring villages Fossey and Lontzen.
